      The Bulk Employee Upload Tool

      How to Bulk Upload Employees in Pivot

      This tool allows you to quickly add basic user information for multiple users 
      at once. You can then use the Employees tab to add additional data such as 
      Shift and Supervisor assignments. 

        1. First, navigate to the Employees tab. 
        2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Bulk Upload Employee 
          button (Bulk Employee Upload Page)


          Please use the template provided below and fill in all required fields.

        3. Once you've completed the template you may upload it here. Either drag and drop the file onto the section below or click to browse for the file. Once the file has been selected click Upload to begin the import process.
        4. Once you upload the file, you will receive an outcome summary. This summary will show you the number of duplicated rows, any errors, and the successful uploads.

        5. You can then use the Employees tab to add additional data such as 
          Shift and Supervisor assignments. 

        Bulk Employee Upload Fields

        The only optional fields are email and phone, though the phone number is useful for Employee Reminder text messages. Please see the fields that will be required.

        • Last Name: 
        • First Name
        • Job Title
        • Username
          • This will be used as the employee's login for the Pivot Platform
        • Password
          • When paired with the Username, the password provided here will serve as the login credentials for accessing the Pivot Platform.
        • Email
          • Used for Password Reset and Notification purposes. 
        • Phone
        • Supervisors
          • If the Employee has any supervisors or managers, list them here. The Supervisors will receive missed Pivot Tests or if any Outside of Normal Range (ONRs) has occured. 
        • ShiftKey
          • The ShiftKey is the Shift time and pattern within Pivot that they are assigned to. To Identify the ShiftKey, you can review the key in the URL of the shift. Please see below for the Greenville ShiftKey:
