Elevate an Unsatisfactory Audit Response to a Task

CONTENTS: • FINDING THE AUDIT ITEM • ADDING TASK DETAILS • VERIFYING THE NEW TASK

OVERVIEW:

Not all suboptimal responses logged during an Audit or Inspection require immediate action. But when it’s decided that an issue does deserve remedial attention, you can easily move that issue to the Corrective Actions/Task Module, where it will then be managed. The process includes assigning the Task to the appropriate personnel.

Elevating an Audit response to a Task is done on the Safety Indicators Desktop site, not the Mobile App.

B  Click the large Audits icon in the Audits Card, to see a List View of current Audits

  VERIFYING THE NEW TASK

•  A Task icon will now appear to the left of that audit question, in the full list of audit questions

• When you close the window for that Audit, a Task icon will also appear next to the colored Status indicator for that Audit

• To see the new corrective action listed among current open Tasks, click the Tasks menu item on the left, then click the large Tasks icon in the Tasks Card. You can double-click it to view or edit the Task information, or to change its Status

• An Orange Task Icon means that action is pending. A Green Task Icon means that it’s been completed. A Red Task Icon means it’s under review.
