Introduction to the Training Tracker Module

The Training Tracker is your tool for managing the training requirements for your staff.

It can be used to capture the completion of

  • - Induction Training
  • - Compliance Training, such as health and safety training, HSR training, first aid courses
  • - External Training, such as accredited certificates, licences, qualifications
  • - Site Specific training, relevant to a location a person is working
  • - Plant/Equipment specific training

The use of the Tracker can be quite broad, and does not need to be just safety oriented.

We should note that it is not an e-learning Learning Management System.  But it could certainly be used to "link off" to courses contained within your LMS, or courses hosted on other website locations (such as government or Registered Training Org websites). 

This module is designed for a Safety manager to design a framework to manage safety training broadly in the organisation.

The module allows you to:

  • Create Training Courses, specifying the course name, description, method of evaluation, and refresher requirements.
  • Group your courses into Categories.
  • Create Training Roles:  Eg.  Casual Food & Bev Attendant, Barista/Front of House staff, Kitchen staff.    
  • Assign courses to each of your Training Roles.
  • Allocate staff to one, or more Training Roles, which in doing so will 'inherit' the courses provided to that role. 
  • Track the "gap" of completion for all staff's training progress
  • For each staff's enrolment, identify the planned dateactual date, and record of their attendance.  
  • Nominate a Supervisor of that training (if required)
  • Upload any notes, tasks, document attachments you like.

On top of this, you have ability to review all training enrolments, grouped by Training By Person filter, or Training By Supervisor filter.
