SafetyIQ User Permissions & Roles

User roles description

There are 4 key roles in the SafetyIQ system, which have permissions assigned to them:

Admin

Enables oversight of the SafetyIQ platform, including settings for setup, various configurations, viewing company-wide insights, and the ability to manage all user’s access and activities. Typically, this role is for people who would manage the SafetyIQ platform.

Manager

Can manage the access and activities of users assigned to the Manager, Member and Personnel roles, and view company-wide insights. Typically, this role is for people and process managers.

Member

Enables a user to manage their own activities in the SafetyIQ platform. Typically, this role is for people who need to perform activities such as completing forms or tasks or creating journeys.

Personnel

People assigned to this role will not have access to log into the SafetyIQ platform, yet information can be stored against them within the platform. Typically, this role would be for external contractors or people who do not hold a licensed seat in the platform.

How to fill in the bulk upload template

Refer to the table below to assign a role to a user in the bulk upload template. For a successful upload, ensure all required user's details are provided in the CSV as outlined below:

User status description

Once a user has been added to the SafetyIQ platform, they will have one of the statuses below on the Users page in the Settings:

Uploaded

A user has been bulk uploaded into the platform but not yet sent an invite to join. Until invitations are sent, uploaded users remain inactive and unable to utilize the platform.

Invited

A user has been sent an invitation to join the platform but has not yet accepted and completed the registration process to create their profile.

Registered

A user has created their profile in the platform and has completed the registration process successfully. Their account is active, and they have access to the platform.

Revoked

A user no longer has login access to the platform. This status is the result of the user initiating the deletion of their account or their account access being removed.
