Introduction to the Observations Module
The Observations Module is your tool for managing safety observations in the workplace. For example, safety behavioural observations, safety hazards, issues, or any safety areas for concern you wish to manage.
Simply, the Observations module allows:
- Instant electronic reporting via mobile/desktop that your employees have observed a safety issue, stating what was observed, when it was observed and recommend action to resolve.
- Take a photograph of the observation and upload it immediately
- Classify the Observation Type (to support your business' reporting charts). Example: A housekeeping issue, an electrical issue, or a fall from heights issue.
- Recommend disciplinary Action follow-up for behavioural concerns to a human resources representative.
- Assign someone to manage the Observation, and list stakeholders who should be involved in correspondences
- Upload any notes, tasks, document attachments you like to the Report
- Monitor history logs of all entries into the Report
- Change the workflow status, and move to progress the Incident to a 'Closed' state.
On top of this, you have ability to review all Observations, using smart keyword search, and grouping and filtering.
