Working in List View

INTRODUCTION:

Within Safety Indicators, you can view lists of Inspections/Audits, Observations, Corrective Actions, Incidents, and more.

Using various Filters, you can get an even more granular breakdown of list items.

Note that different people at the organization may have different levels and types of permissions. That’s why the Lists and functions available to one worker may be different than what’s available to another.

  ACCESSING LIST VIEWS

COMPANY-WIDE AND PROJECT-SPECIFIC LISTS

At the top of the Safety Indicators interface, you’ll see a designation with a down-arrow. This example shows All Projects, but it may also say All Worksites, All Departments, or whichever term your company uses. By default, any list that you subsequently access will include company-wide data.

By clicking on All Projects (etc.), a drop-down menu will appear, from which you can choose a specific Project. Now, the lists that you access will only include data for that Project.

ACCESSING A LIST

For this example, we’re focusing on the Safety Incidents Module (above). By clicking on the large icon in the Safety Incidents card, a List View of current Incidents will appear (below).

By looking at the column headers, you can see the types of data being offered in this particular list (you may need to scroll horizontally to see all the columns). Note that the Status column here is color-coded for quick visual reference.

Note that by double-clicking on any item, you can open its Details form.

  LIST FILTERS

On the left side of the list are a number of Filters options. By using one or more filters to define certain parameters, you can

create a subset of list items that conform to those parameters. Filters can also be helpful for narrowing down the list to be able to find a specific list item.

APPLYING A FILTER

Example 1: Click the down-arrow for the Date of Incident Filter. Then click the calendar icons and choose dates, to only show incidents that occurred before a certain date, after a certain date, or both (date range).

Example 2: Click the down-arrow for the Classification Filter. Then check the Incident type(s) you want to include in the subset list

You'll see that the subset list has replaced the full Incident list. To go back to the full list, delete your Filter parameters.

MULTIPLE FILTERS

By applying both filters in the examples above, you will be presented with a list of only Injury-type incidents that occurred during the specified date range.

Take the time to scroll down and review the various Filter types, so you know what is possible using this powerful feature.
